Project Goal: Create a package design for a figurative plant nursery. Design a logo, and pattern to be used on the packaging.

Sullen, Eery, Reminiscent, Shocking

This project expressed a lot of the emotions I was coping with at the time of its creation. The pandemic had a major toll on my ability to find enthusiasm in classes and we had just returned to a regular class structure. My generation was majorly impacted socially and educationally by quarantine, so when this project came up it seemed like a great opportunity to explore these feelings deeper and maybe even provide a platform for the voices of fellow students. I learned a lot about using PhotoShop in this project and it tested my applications of photography. It aims to emulate the loss of milestone memories to the pandemic. Moments we should have looked back on in our adulthood as fond photo-worthy memories were tained by the grief of losing loved ones and fear of sickness.
